Community & safety guidelines

Divaz and Conz doesn't screen members or verify claims made in a profile. Correspondence is between consenting adults, and it's on you to write with good judgment.

Protect your own information

Use a P.O. box or a work address rather than your home address if you're not comfortable sharing it. Never send money, gift cards, or financial details to someone you haven't verified through the facility itself, and be skeptical of any request for funds, however the story is framed.

Facilities set the real rules

Each institution has its own policy on photos, stamps, paper type, and even handwriting versus print. If a letter is rejected or returned, it's almost always a facility mail-room rule, not a reflection on you or the recipient.

You can stop writing at any time

You're not obligated to continue a correspondence that no longer feels right. It's okay to write a clear, kind final letter, or simply to stop responding. You don't owe anyone an ongoing exchange.

Report a concern

If a profile appears fraudulent, or a correspondence turns threatening or coercive, contact us so we can review the listing. If you're ever in immediate danger, contact local authorities directly — don't wait on us.
