Three moves to a first letter

How Divaz and Conz works

No accounts to manage on the inside, no apps to install in a facility that won't allow them — just a directory, a mailing address, and a stamp.

1. Browse a profile

Search by state, facility, or interest. Every profile is written in the member's own words — some short, some long — so you can get a real sense of who you'd be writing to before you send anything.

2. Write your first letter

Use the mailing header generator on any profile to get the facility's correct address format, then write the way you would to anyone new — introduce yourself, ask a question, tell them something true. Postal mail only; Divaz and Conz never handles or reads correspondence.

3. Keep it going, at your own pace

Mail inside a facility can take longer than you're used to, and rules vary by state and institution — photos, stamps, and paper are often restricted. Read our safety guidelines for what's normal, what's a warning sign, and how to set your own boundaries.
